Hermanus

Vanmorgen zijn we begonnen met het spotten van walvissen. Nou ja 'we', dit was nou net niet een geweldige trip voor Debbie, die wat moeite had met de golven van de Atlantische oceaan.
Toch hebben we twee walvissen gespot: moeder met kalf. Helaas niet beide tegelijk op de foto te krijgen (op de foto enkel de staart van de moeder).

En 's middags zijn we bij de buren op bezoek gegaan: het Township. Wel onder begeleiding (Mr. Wilson), want anders is het toch te gevaarlijk. Het was een zeer indrukwekkende belevenis en erg interessant hoe de situatie is in zo'n Township.

Het maken van foto's wordt ervaren als zeer boeiend:

De mensen zijn erg arm, maar wel gelukkig. Dit zie je met name bij de kinderen terug hoe gelukkig ze zijn:

This morning we started with spotting wales. Well 'we'? This wasn't the best trip for Debbie who had some problems with the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. But we found two wales: a mother with her calf. Unfortunately we were not able to photograph them together (on the picture only the tail of the mother).

In the afternoon we visited our neighbours: the Township. With a guide (Mr. Wilson) because otherwise it would be too dangerous. It was very impressive and interesting how the situation is in such a Township.

Making pictures was found very interesting (see picture). And it also shows that the people are poor but quite happy. Especially watching the children, showed us this hapiness.
